What teachers say ...I have used the PHONETIC READING CHAIN with 7th, 8th, and 9th through
12th grade students, in groups numbering three to ten in size. The program
is easy to teach, easy to learn, and self-motivating for students who
never learned to decode, or who read poorly. These students have made

district as a special education reading tutor, I have used PRC with very
difficult cases... students who everyone else had given up on. I am pleased
to say that every one of my special education students was successful
in learning to read. The PHONETIC READING CHAIN is a wonderful resource, and builds decoding
in a very effective way. I have used it with a 12th grader who was stuck
at the 4th grade level, and he zoomed to 8th grade level in six months
because he learned how to look at the words! I tutored a student one session per week from February 1996 to June
1998. When I met Charlie, he was 12 years old and reading at a third grade

What parents say ...A 4th grader at pre-primer level, our son made more stabilized progress
during the first three months of the PHONETIC READING CHAIN instruction
than he had made in the previous three years. He's reading multisyllabic
words, his sight word spelling and writing have greatly improved, and
he is retaining everything...thanks to the PRC's multisensory chaining
techniques. This program really worked, after all else had failed. Labeled as a slow learner who would always have learning problems, our
12 year old went from 4th grade to 10th grade level (school records) after
covering only two-thirds of the PHONETIC READING CHAIN. His current 8th
grade teachers can't believe he ever had a reading problem. Thank you
so much! By 7th grade, my bright daughter's self esteem was shattered because
she could not read well enough to keep up. The PHONETIC READING CHAIN
has given her the ability and confidence to read aloud without embarrassment.
For the first time, she is a "B" student in English, her vocabulary has
grown greatly, and she corrects me when I mispronounce words. Our sincere
thanks! After deciding to home-school my diagnosed dyslexic fifth grader because
he was not making any progress in learning to read at school, the PHONETIC
READING CHAIN was the answer to my prayers. After only seven units, he's
reading words like "approximate" and "ventriloquism" and he is REALLY
reading, because he doesn't need to guess anymore. Thank you for making
the miracle possible. Stephanie has just completed Unit 14 with cumulative test results of
100, 94, 98, 98. She is reading magazines now! I'm just amazed! It has
been a remarkable transformation. Thank you very much for the "magic books".

EXCERPTS FROM THREE LETTERS First letter: Second letter: Third letter: What adult students say ...When I was asked to read aloud at school, I'd say "I can't",
or I'd just hang my head and say nothing at all. Now that I can read everything,
I smile and find life more exciting because I can now talk about what
I've learned through reading. Even at fifty, life can be a beginning,
thanks to the Miracle Lady. After graduating from high school with a 4th grade reading level, I
endured nearly 20 years of frustration before being diagnosed as a dyslexic.
Tutoring in the PRC was recommended and it has done wonders for me. At
age 37, I can easily read long words and I am only half way through the
PRC. I could have avoided so much frustration and humiliation had I had
